Pink Peppercorns (Schinus Terebinthifolius) are not a true Peppercorn, but are the dried fruit of the Baies Rose Plant. These berries are used in French and other European cuisines where a lighter, peppery flavor is wanted. They also impart a light rose color to food. Pepper is one of the most commonly used spices and the Pink Peppercorn is one more way to add a peppery flavor to your recipes.
Use them in your favorite Vinaigrette or Salad Dressing recipe. Rub your Pork Tenderloin or Filet Mignon with coarsely ground Pink Pepper before roasting or grilling. They are add a light peppery flavor to seafood dishes. Just sprinkle some crushed peppercorns on the fish as it is cooking.
