Ancho Chile Marinade

Our Ancho Chile Marinade is the heart and soul of our Grilled Ancho Chicken Breast recipe, or any recipe where you need a very flavorful marinade or rub. We hand-crafted it to give you the tastes of street-grilled chicken, pork or beef. The lime helps to tenderize the meat, while the ancho chile and other spices infuse and provide it with a flavor combination that will have your guests ask for seconds, and probably the recipe.  It is a simple recipe and one of our personal favorites.

To make the Ancho Chile Marinade, in a large zipper lock bag or marinating tray, combine 3-4 Tablespoons of the marinade mix with ¼ Cup of water. Mix well then add your choice of meat or vegetables. Coat well then add a ¼ Cup of Olive Oil or Canola Oil. Cover and refrigerate for 2-4 hours, allowing the flavors to develop. After marinating, you’re ready to grill according to the directions of your favorite recipe.
