Prime Rib Roast Beef Seasoning
Our house-blended Prime Rib Roast Beef Seasoning is our Low Salt version of the very traditional celery-based Roast Beef Seasoning. One our personal favorites, we use it to season our roasts, short ribs, steaks, burgers and chops. The celery enhances many dishes. The gravy you make with the roast drippings is fantastic, especially if drizzled over traditional Yorkshire Pudding.
We love the flavor the seasoning adds to the potatoes, carrots, onions and other roasting vegetables you have cooking along side your roast.
To make a flavorful seasoning crust for prime rib, simply moisten your roast and use this seasoning as a rub (about 1 tablespoon per pound). Rub in evenly to all sides. Refrigerate for about an hour before cooking if you have the time. If want to further enhance the browning, add a bit of olive or canola oil to your roasting pan on the stove top over medium-high heat. Brown well on all sides before putting the roast in the oven.
We have also had several bartenders who add our Prime Rib Seasoning to their Bloody Mary’s.
Ingredients: Celery Seed, Black Pepper, Caraway Seed, Paprika, Onion, Garlic, Bay Leaf, Salt, Sugar, and Spices.
