Cattleman’s Cracked Peppercorn Blend
Our Cattleman’s Cracked Peppercorn Blend is a Sheffield Spice & Tea Co, proprietary small-batch blend, which we crafted for beef, chicken and pork. Your recipe will burst with flavor. Not overly spicy, the blend will compliment any flavor your recipe calls for. It is one of our most popular steak blends and a personal favorite.
Besides using as a steak rub, we like to use it on chicken medallions either baked or pan-cooked. It is also one of our most widely used blends for pork chops.
Rub about 1 Tablespoon per pound of the blend on your meat before cooking. The flavor will come through whether you let the seasoning sit on cut for an hour or two, or use right away when you don’t the time to wait.
If you pan-cook your steak, chop or chicken, the blend works equally well if you put some in your flour first. The flavor comes through nicely and the touch of hickory smokiness adds the right touch of something that will have your guests asking where you got it.
