Ghost Chile Pepper Powder
Also known as the Bhut Jolokia, Naga Jolokia and other names, the Ghost Pepper is one of the hottest chile peppers in the world. it has been measured at between 1,000,000 and 2,000,000 Scoville units. For most cooks, they use it as Ghost Chile Pepper Powder, where small amounts can be used easier.
Many Chileheads swear the hotter the pepper, the more addictive it is, which is why the Ghost Pepper is so desired for spicy dishes.
Use in any dish that calls for Chile Powder and as one of the hottest Chile Powders available, you will maximize the heat. Just remember that it is up to 5 times hotter than habanero. Besides the heat, the Ghost Pepper has a slight fruity flavor.
