Great Lakes Seafood Seasoning

Our Great Lakes Seafood Seasoning might have been inspired by the seasonings used on the various fish caught in and around the Great Lakes, like salmon, Lake Superior whitefish, lake perch, walleye, many species of trout, but the spices and herbs we blended into the seasoning gives you a flavor for all kinds of seafood all around the world. We wanted a slightly spicy seasoning which would add a nice savory touch to all seafood from the milder white fish like cod and halibut, to heavier fish like salmon, swordfish and similar cuts. It works equally well on shrimp, crab and even Cajun seafood cuts.

Give your fish filets a nice liberal sprinkling of the seasoning. You might want to brush the filets with a bit of olive oil or canola oil so the seasoning will stick a bit better. Lightly rub into the fish, so the flavors will mingle better.

Sprinkle Great Lakes on your Shrimp before grilling, or use as an ingredient in your seafood salads, crab cakes. Makes a great the seasoning in your tartar sauce or remoulade. We’re sure you’ll find even more ways to use it with all your favorite seafood dishes.
